Absinthe Blanchette is a particularly refreshing drink made from a blend of wormwood, Roman wormwood, green anise, fennel, and hyssop. The green anise from Spain and fennel from Provence give it a naturally light sweet taste. Since it is not bitter, it is best served unsweetened, diluted only with cold, fresh water.
Absinthe Blanchette absinthe was originally produced by Combier between 1899 and 1915 and was revived in 2006 using the same distillation equipment from the 19th century. Blanchette is a classic, authentic Swiss-style white absinthe with a dominant aniseed flavor.
