Jade Terminus Oxygénée Absinthe Supérieure is undoubtedly the absinthe in the Jade portfolio with the most prominent character and powerful expression. It is both bold and creamy, with powerful rich aromas and a long, stimulating aftertaste that is somewhat reminiscent of the drink’s medicinal origins. Jade Terminus Oxygénée Absinthe Supérieure is carefully distilled by T. A. Breaux in the 19th century copper alembic stills of the historic Combier distillery in the Loire, France.
Jade Terminus Oxygénée Absinthe Supérieure was created as a tribute to one of the most interesting absinthes of the mythical Belle Époque. What made this famous product unique was its specialized hot oxygenation process, which was originally thought to make the spirit more hygienic and free of potentially harmful properties. Jade Terminus Oxygénée is hand-distilled from the same ingredients as the original Terminus Oxygénée, with the addition of wormwood from the foothills of the Alps, which contributes to the bold flavor of Jade’s version. Of course, Jade Terminus Oxygénée has also undergone a customized hot oxygenation process that closely mirrors the original technique. And while this little twist from the past adds its own character to the spirit, it’s only after at least three years of maturation that it’s ready for bottling. This is research, long-standing knowledge and true craftsmanship all rolled into one.
