Without a doubt, Antica Torino’s Vino Chinato Rosso is one of their most classic aromatized wines.
The starting point is the partnership between Antica Torino and Barbaresco producer Luigi Voghera, from Neive, who provided an excellent Langhe Nebbiolo DOP, which made it possible to realize the recipe for an ambitious chinato wine. The addition of ingredients such as chinato, wormwood, gentian, elderberry, rhubarb, bay leaf, chamomile, marjoram, cinnamon, vanilla, coriander, rose and nutmeg then helped shape its character. And here we are – with a Vino Chinato Rosso out of the ordinary. This is definitely something you’ve never experienced before – unless you’ve had this particular one, of course. So good. So Italian.

More about Antica Torino Vino Chinato Rosso
Granate red in tone
Clear notes of rose, nutmeg and aromatic herbs that emphasize the scent of Chinato followed by the most classic bitter aromatic herbs such as Gentiana and Wormwood.
The soft, herbal but floral aroma follows nicely into a taste of fine Nebbiolo wine with the same floral and well-balanced spiciness in the taste. Fine notes of a balanced bitter round off as the icing on the cake.
