This liqueur is created with Louisiana Perique, the world’s rarest and most precious tobacco. Early French settlers in Louisiana learned the secrets of growing Perique from the indigenous people and the tradition has been kept alive for centuries. Despite this, there is still very little Perique grown today. The unique terroir of the Mississippi River gives Perique the intense spices and aromas that contribute to the delicate balance of this fine liqueur. In honor of this endangered tradition, Jade Liqueurs created the Perique liqueur, which captures the amazing aroma of this unique tobacco, but in a way that greatly reduces the health problems associated with tobacco use. Perique is entirely handcrafted and embodies the nuances of this ancient tobacco. It is best enjoyed in the same way as an exclusive liqueur or brandy.
